Workforce Investment Act administered in Fremont County by UAACOG

WIA is a federally funded program designed to increase occupational skill levels of participants, and improve the quality of the workforce. The training programs are designed to prepare eligible adults and youth for productive employment, and/or, in the case of youth, successful completion of an academic program. Services are tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual and employer.

WIA will pay a portion of the employees wages for a period of time to prepare them and employers for regular employment.
